Random Photographs

As I'm sure you've noticed I haven't been very good about updating recently. I've kind of had to sideline some of my projects temporally so I can concentrate on other things. Namely finding another job and getting everything moved out and cleaned up at my old apartment. However, I feel bad about leaving you all in the lurch so here are some random photographs I've taken recently.

This is a cup of gummi bears after they were left submerged in sierra mist for a couple days. As you can see they get pretty bloated and gross. Also, a word of warning, they taste awful afterwards. Absolutely awful.

This is picture of the cupboard at my new apartment. One of these things is not like the others. Can you guess which one?

Here is another picture from my new apartment. These look like drawers, but they most definitely are not. Apparently I wasn't the only person who kept forgetting and then trying to open them because my roommate Sammi decide to put up this warning. However, unlike real hoez these drawers are not at all loose.

Somebody Found the Food Coloring

Saint Patrick's Day is behind us now so I'm a bit late in this post, but I won't let that stop me. When my sister and I were little, every Saint Patrick's Day we'd wake up to find the milk had been turned green. Although a simple gesture it is often the little things that make the biggest impact. Now it just does not seem like Saint Patrick's Day unless something has been turned green. Actually, that isn't quite right; Saint Patrick's Day does not seem worth the bother until something has been turned green. Holidays, like so many other things, are only as much fun as you let them be. Holidays are the perfect excuse for eccentric behavior. People get drunk every night, but it is not everyday that you color code your life. In my opinion, that's where the real fun of the day lies.
My Saint Patrick's Day started when I found some food coloring in my cupboards. While I didn't have any Green, I did have Blue & Yellow, so for all intensive purposes I did have Green and I put it to use. For Lunch I had myself some green milk and green fettuccine alfredo with green beans.

Then for dinner I made myself a green doughed pizza (using pesto instead of marinara), a salad, and since it is Saint Patrick's Day after all so for a drink I had some Rum & Rootbeer (I call the concoction a Charlatan because it's like a Rum&Coke, but not). Then for dessert a slice of Grasshopper pie.

Yes, it was a very delicious and a very green Saint Patrick's Day. It left me with a full belly, but the food coloring also left me with a rather green thumb. Feel free to turn green with envy.

Phone Pictures

I have just figured out how to get pictures off of my phone. It turns out it is much more of a process than I had thought it would be. It also turns out I have some strange stuff on there. For instance I think these are some sort of knee pads:
Why on earth did I take a picture of that? Answer: No idea. However, what is clear is why I took a picture of a Liz Ruckdeschel book.

Good to see that the kids these days are still reading high quality literature. Raising such intriguing questions as "what if all the boys wanted me?". Although to be fair in my childhood I spent a large amount of time reading books that answered such questions as "what if a group of kids were given the ability to turn into animals in order to fight aliens?", so someone could argue neither is really any better than the other. They would, however, be wrong. An amazon search tells me this is a choose-your-own-adventure book...also the library has it...I just might have to read it and find out.

My final picture is by far the greatest. It can be found in the storage closet at the theater where I work.It is wonderful on so many levels...and I love it.

A Present

I didn't get my inking done and now I am tired and don't want to do it. Instead here is a picture of my new shredder. It turns out there isn't much the manual will teach you. For instance you shouldn't put your hair or neck tie in the shredder. It didn't mention if this was because those things might get caught or just because the resulting effect would surely make you look ridiculous.

I Heart Goggles

I was going to do post a picture of a new comic today, but then I remembered that I'll be able to get that cord from Max tomorrow. Why bludgeon your eyes with sub par goods when I'm so close to being able to present full quality goodness? Instead here is a random picture I took.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to cook something up for dinner then watch Back to the Future III. I've been told that it's actually a decent movie if you think about it on its own and not as part of a series. I haven't seen it in a very long time, so I figure I'll put the theory to the test.
